yea mine either they came to my room for all her test i loved my hospital they helped all my needs cuz my main thing was my baby not leaving the room at all @californiahaley

so after my babys born what do I tell them so they dont take the baby to clean them off because to be honest I dont care if they are covered in baby gunk I want to be the one who cleans them off?

when your in labor tell the doctors and nurses that you dont want them to clean em u want straight skin to skin or that u want to wipe them off yourself ... dont be scared to tell them its your baby and you can do what you want @boggerbaby

when your getting ready to push just ask them to lay the towels across your chest so when baby comes he/she can go straight to your chest @boggerbaby

I should have done this. but I was severely behind on sleep. my doctors wanted me to get sleep cause of how high my pressure was. I'll do this when I have my next child.

yes! best way to make sure you can have this is write up a short simple birth plan. Benefits include, helping baby regulate temperature and heart rate and better APGAR scores. They can test APGAR and clean airways right on your chest. However if the baby has aspirated meconium or shows other signs of distress they may want him on the cart for the emergency pediatrician to check out.

I totally agree with my first child I didn't get that skin to skin bond so I made sure with my second I did and it truly makes a difference the bond you feel is so special
