I got induced and dilated to four they gave me an epidural before I needed it it stoped my labor the next morning 24 hours later they popped my water I bled out too much so I had to get an emergency c section. so DONT GET THE EPIDERAL UNTIL U REALLY NEED IT . good luck

I got my epidural at 3, and I think it sped my labor up. But they gave me too much, I couldn't feel any of my labor or delivery. I slept while I dilated from 4 cm to 10.

I'm going through the same thing...hopefully when I go to the doctor on Wed I will have progressed. My baby is stubborn too

@jackee856, how many weeks are you?

@babymalaya please don't use castor oil it can cause severe lung problems for the baby. my nephew died 4 months after birth due to castor oil.

@jackee856, I know how you feel...I'm miserable and I haven't dilated and cervix is so hard...

@babymalaya, I'm super miserable too. My first pregnancy wasn't like this my body was ready at 37weeks. Same here I haven't dilated and my cervix hasn't softened either. Hopefully I get good news too. I will be trying castor oil too if I dont. Just do your research first if you haven't already...I've heard good and bad things about but I think it depends on how you take and when you take it.

try primrose oil @jackee856 ...that's what everybody keeps telling me
