I'm a first time mom. Im 20 years old I'm in my 8th week and still haven't told my parents! Any ideas on how ?

When I found out I made my husband tell them, my mom was very excited and my dad was too but told him to make me take another, they were out of town so he told them over the phone

I was the exact same way!!! @peanutsmommy1203 I told my sister first and had to wait until my mom was back in town from a conference I told my dad over the phone because he was checking on my because we all thought I had salmonella lol BUT all be said was take care of yourself :) my mom and her new husband were a little dramatic but now my mom is so excited every time she sees a mixed baby she wants to ask about them and almost pees her pants :) it'll be fine!

@peanutsmommy1203, maybe get a "grandma & me" picture frame & put a pic of your mom & an ultrasound picture in it & give it to her. (:

I'm know your scared but it is better to tell them now.. I'm 19 I waited until I was 13 weeks to tell them of course they will react but the reaction might not always be as bad as you think it will... my parents were mad but the quickly got over it and are very excited to welcome their grandson... this will be my mother's 6th grand child ( I have 2 older brothers) and my father's 1st grandchild

Eventually, I think I'll tell my mom sooner than dad. Maybe Mother's Day @parkers_mommy

@peanutsmommy1203, just come out & tell them. you're of age so there's not much they can really say to you. they may be a little shocked in the beginning but they will come around!
