I have a question.. my son's father & I have been having serious problems all throughout my pregnancy & now we're at the point Where were haven't spoken in a month because I have changed my number. am I wrong for not wanting to name my son's last name after his dad?
I love that idea! that makes so much sense . marriage is definitely more for sure than just conceiving a child. @kate_magalina
@masons_mommy, I would honestly give your baby your name. You're the one who has to go through the pain of having a child. I told my boyfriend when he changes my last name we'll change our daughters too.
Np girl anytime . I have two boys and a step daughter . And about to have another baby due in July and I'm only 27 . I have learned a lot . Listen to yourself because your usually always right😉👌
I wish that I would have just stuck to my instinct knowing that he was not going to be there for them. My husband Is my kids dad .
yea he has done some messed up stuff as well and the way he speaks to me I don't even want him to b around. but his family is very supportive and I just don't want anyone to feel bad.
Well what you should do is name him your last name and by the time he turns one because he won't know his last name anyways until he's like 4 see how great of a father He is . And if he ends up being a great dad and know he wants to be in his life you can change it and your baby will never know . My kids are named after their deadbeat dad and it was the worst thing o ever did because I married now and we have different names I hate it 😔
My baby girl is getting my last name. I'm still with my boyfriend and it pisses him off but he's done a lot of messed up things to me and our unborn daughter & not to mention he'll be in prison when she gets here.
and that's Exactly how I look at it. my father wasn't around when I was younger and i am named after him & I hate it. I just don't want my son to go thru tht. but if he decides to step up then in gonna feel bad for not naming him after his dad. @awelden
No . Especially if you think he's not going to stand up and be a man and be a father to his child . Some men think that the reason you don't want the babies to have their last name because you don't know if the baby is his that is not the case we just don't want him to be named after a deadbeat
I hyphenated my twins and now I only use my portion of their last name. Legal documents and school paperwork they use both. This baby will be hyphenated IF this man magically gets his act together. If not, my little girl will have my name only. I refuse to give a deadbeat credit for nothing.
