how long has it taken for you to go number 2 after a c section? I havnt gone and have been taking the pills they gave me, my mom is freaking out. I am passing gas just no not going!:/

Yeah they gave me milk of magnesium at the hospital I wasn't allowed to leave until I had one. but also the chicken broth does help they told me that in the hospital and all I kept ordering from food service was chicken noodle soup.
Took me 2 weeks but still hurts like crazy at 5 weeks pp idk if that's normal or not

I didn't have a c section but it took a while for me to have a bowel movement too keep taking the pills

@rykerp15, Just eat chicken broth and jello. When I had my daughter 8 years ago I couldn't leave until I had a successful bowel movement. Once I started eating the chicken broth I finally started having them. I suggest you have your mom get you some and just season it for taste.

I can't believe they let you leave without having one. What helped me was chicken broth.
Just got out today apparently now you can leave without bowel movement doc said it could take a few days to a week just do stool softener but if u really just want to go drink some dieters tea Ballerina tea would be the best though if I don't go by Sunday I'm gonna drink the tea
