How can a baby in the womb be overweight? I could see her saying he's gunna be a big baby but overweight...seems a little weird to say ? I'm sure you're just gunna have a beautiful healthy big boy ☺️

lol not wrong just confusing cause I was like why would a dr say a baby in the womb is overweight like they don't even call babies already born overweight they just say they're in a higher percentile...I believe paisley was 6 something pounds at 36 weeks and she was born at 7lbs 9oz so I wouldn't worry too much about having a monster baby

If you only gained 17lbs baby cannot be overwheigh or on a bigger side the way the doc said. If you have diabetes or GD then it's possible b/c baby gets extra sugar from mom in blood it doesn't need which makes baby gain weight.

And your doc can't know specifically how much your baby weighs unless she ordered you to get measurement ultrasound.

Sounds like a perfect weight to me! My little one was estimated at 7 lbs at 37 weeks and when she was born at 38 weeks 2 days she was 7 lbs 6 oz
