Ok can someone tell me their experience on how it was when the doc induced you? How long was the labor? How soon did the contractions start?
i went in got pitocen at 5pm by 7pm i was having mild contractions by 10pm i was at 5cm cant remember times after that but around 8pm i got fentanal (spell check) to help ease the pain before i got the epidural wasnt in to much pain yet they gave me that every hr for 8 hrs even once i got my epidural then my water broke on its own and at 5:55 my baby was born took me 6 mins to push her out..... it was easy not to much pain
Don't be scared....you're strong and just cause that was my labor experience doesn't mean it'll be that way for you, my older sister was induced at 39 weeks with 2 of her 3 daughters and was able to deliver them naturally but she did get the epidural cause contractions are a bitch...I was induced at 41+3
Got the foley balloon at 9pm on Sunday, started pitocin at 7am on Monday contractions started around 8, foley balloon fell out around 10 and that's when contractions got REAL ...wasn't dilating so they kept upping my pitocin contractions started being off the charts strong and less than a minute apart started screaming for the epidural at 6:30 didn't get it until almost 8 (latex allergy) I couldn't catch my breath between contractions and my daughters heart rate kept dropping so they gave me oxygen and backed off of the pitocin that didn't help with my breathing or her heart rate so we had an emergency c section
I was induced at 37weeks with my son because he had stopped growing. I went to the hospital immediately after I had a Nst, I got to the hospital at 5pm I was already dilated to 2cms...they started me on pitocin and gave me stadol to take the edge off. The doctor came and broke my water about 2hours after I got there. I got epidural soon after that....by the time the anesthesiologist left me room and the doctor came in I was all ready to push. I delivered my son at 10:15pm. Everyone's experience is different.
