So my newborn, he is a week old. And he is starting to sleep through the night mainly cause he ends up in bed with me. But he can sleep for like a good six hours during the night and then when he wakes up to eat he eats!! Y'all have any experience or think that's bad?? I try and wake him to eat and he's not having it so we fall asleep.

He's young still I'm sure that will change. Lol don't u feel like a cow? Lol
@regelbaby, except I'm feeding him all day every day lol
No prob! Ya the more they eat during the day the more satisfied they'll be at night! Lucky you!
@regelbaby, @btener014 @californiahaley that makes me feel better. Thank you guys. When they know they know at least. He eats almost all day so if that means I get a nice night of sleep I'll take it
I have never woken up Terry to eat not even the first few days of his life. And he gained back his birth weight within a cpl days no problem and he's now in the 82 percentile for his weight :)
My son never ate when I woke him up so I stopped trying and let him wake up on his own to tell me when he was hungry.
As long as he's gaining weight, feed whenever he wants :) I usually get anxious if she hasn't woken up in a while to nurse so I just change her diaper to wake her up and then feed her :)
@lilmama, @californiahaley @btener014 I breast feed just to breast feed we just had his one week appt and he was already back up to his birth weight but he doesn't wake up when I try he wakes up alone to tell me when he's hungry
In the first week, they told me to wake them up every 2-3 hours to feed otherwise they won't gain enough weight. Now that my daughter is a month old I feed her whenever she's hungry
I was told I never had to wake my son up to eat once he gained back his birth weight which was before we even left the hospital. If you're using breastfeeding as a form of birth control baby will need to eat more often but if you're not and baby gained back birth weight and is steadily gaining weight then it's not an issue
do you breat feed??
