🚨🚨Vent ALERT🚨🚨

So, last night I went to a free concert series they have in my town. I went with my parents and my little sister because I have no friends. So we go. I went to see Shakey Graves, I was supposed to see him the past fall but my ex and I broke up the day before and it was messy.

I show up with my family to this free concert event and within twenty minutes of sitting there my mom grabs my attention and keeps my attention saying, "just keep looking this way". Now I'm not one to hide from the past, but I have requested absolutely NO contact from my baby's father because of what he did to me (he cheated on me the entire time we were together--1 year, verbally and emotionally abused me when I told him I was pregnant with his child, and countless times has violated the boundaries we agreed on back in January, oh he also insisted I get an abortion and now he wants to act all interested in the child he helped make). I felt extremely uncomfortable being at that concert even with my family there to support me.

I hate living in the same city as my baby's father, he finds a way to steal all the happiness from me just by being in the same vicinity.

Note: I'm not asking for your opinions. My son is 100% better off without his father. My son does not deserve a father that will only be around when it's most convenient for him to be, my son will not have to deal with the heartbreak of holding a lesser importance in his fathers life (music comes first with my sons father, then it's drugs, then it's alcohol, then it's family). So if you've got something to say about my keeping my son away from his father keep it to yourself. I know I'm making the best decision for my son.
