Just got back from hospital, baby seemed to be ok after being monitored but still don't know why they have booked me for scan tom morning ! Anyone had scan in late pregnancy? What was it for ?

Thank you @jumpingjellybeans when I asked if everything ok with the baby midwife just said it's a normal procedure in the late pregnancy. As far as I know the scan only needed if they think there are some complications. Well I'm on my way there now :-( see how it goes x
I had one during my first pregnancy but it was to see whether baby was breech. It could be for the same reason or a sizing check perhaps??

It seems like everyone is getting growth scans except me :( this is my 4th baby and not one doctor ever offered a scan after my 20 week anatomy scan. Is there a medical reason your doctor gives you ladies a growth scan?

Has anyone had a 4D scan at window to the womb? Or a 4D scan in general how many weeks were you?🙈
Yes it is a bit strange I only know of the 12 and 20 week scan and they may do a scan later to check growth or breech position. I'd love to be kept updated if you don't mind. I'm sure it'll all be fine. It may just be to ease your anxiety over movement?
