This might be a stupid question but how do you clean the poopy cloth diapers ? I am thinking about using them but don't want to throw poopy dipes right in the washer?
Do y'all think that dad's should change poopy diapers just like mom's? My husband never changes a poopy diaper it kinda is starting to make me mad lol I think it's only fair! I mean yes it's gross and poop is nasty but it's not going to kill you!

Exclusively breastfed poop can go straight in the washer. If using formula or after solids you'll want to either rinse the diapers with a sprayer. Or dunk them in the toilet or wipe as much as you can off with wipes.

It's loads cheaper for sure. And not as hard as people think it is. Great option. I love it. Wouldn't do sposies for the life of me

Another question @californiahaley so you use plastic covers on them?

It depends what kind of diaper you plan to use, pockets, all in one and all in twos have PUL which is water proof and needs no cover. Hybrid fitteds and fitteds need covers if clothing is worn over them. Prefolds or flats also require a cover. Covers are normally made with PUL not plastic because plastic isn't breathable and could cause rashes.
