Is there any FTM's throwing their own baby shower??

I feel so overwhelmed and kind of unliked that no one not even my own family wanted to throw me a baby shower.... I am doing everything (other than cooking) myself. 😩😞

I planned and hosted both of mine. It is overwhelming. It sucks too. I too would've like to have a close friend or family pitch in and help, but such is life.

I'm pretty much throwing my own and don't expect many people to show since we live so far.

I'm planning my whole baby shower .. I think it's better because only I know how I want things and I know if someone else does things that I don't like I will flip lol.. As long as you're family is there to help you decorate it think it's fine. (:

exactly. food wise I just did fruit with chocolate cheese and crackers and I asked my aunts to bring something light. I really just had help decorating but I don't have that crafty touch

@twinmommy_15, you're welcome sweetie...that's mainly why I planned my own..I know me..if someone did it and I didn't say anything then I wouldn't want to go n not like what they put together and I'll try to change everything to fit me and they wouldn't change nothing and kept it their way...so I'm doing it all my way and I'm loving what I've planned so far...

I'm planning mine out..i feel like mine will turn out great...it was kinda hard at first but then it seemed like it all started to come naturally...

I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.
