So to pass the time when I can't sleep or when I'm just bored I knit and crochet. I know it makes me sound like a granny, but it's soooo relaxing and keeps my mind focused. I'm about to start my second pair of booties for my son I know it's nearly 11:30 pm but let's me honest I'm not going to sleep well anyway. Might as well stay up all night making gifts for my son. :)

That's adorable already!!! So precious. I just finished a pair of booties with a fold over cuff. I'm still getting the hang of the codes and lingo of crochet patterns but so far I looooooove passing the time making things for my baby :)

My ex boyfriend who is my baby daddy. His mom was supposed to teach me how to but then this crazy stuff happens and him and I are not together and I rly wish I could have learned how to first!!! I want to make cute things

It's really simple to be honest. It takes time and patience but there are all sorts of videos on YouTube to help beginners. I've been crocheting since I was about 10 years old, but couldn't make much of anything other than a scarf. It wasn't until I found out I was pregnant that I took the time and sat down with a how to video for booties and made my first pair. Now I make hats, scarves, booties, scratch mittens, you name it I'll try it. Two years ago I started knitting too. Taught myself. I've made a total of 5 or six lovie sized blankets for my son. I have one to my cousin in February for her baby shower but that's another thing I love to do. If you've got the time and the patience sit down with a video and try it out. You'll get frustrated and confused but it's so worth it in the end. I'm sorry to hear about your baby's father. I'm no longer with my sons dad. He wanted to be a rock star instead of stepping up to be a daddy. I guess music is more important than a child. Regardless I'm better without my baby's father and my son is 100% better off without a father that is only around when he wants to be. Keep your chin up buttercup. :) it'll get better.

Ok sounds good I will try it and let you know how it comes out!! Yeah my baby's daddy is on probation and they have so many rules that he has to fallow and his mom doesn't help any of it but it's going to be fine my daughter doesn't need to be a part of her daddy's messed up life!
