My son is 3 months and I wanna take him swimming is it safe to take him to a lake to get in the water?

I would assume yes cause at least lakes don't have all the chemicals that pools do...I would check the lakes history to be sure there's never been "do not swim" hazards due to e. Coli contamination

My daughters Pediatrician said no sunscreen until she's 6+ months so I would say use a sunhat with the swim shirt and swim shorts and if you plan on using a floater I would suggest one of the ones that has a sun shade over it ☺️

personally I wouldnt take a baby so young to a lake. It doesnt seem like it would be sanitary enough. Just my opinion though. Maybe you can get an outdoor blow up pool if you have a backyard.

Living in Arizona that is one of the first questions I asked his pediatrician! She told me to use nutreogena sunscreen since its more for sensitive skin and to keep them covered up as much as possible. I know my son will be in the lake this summer! Have fun :)
