I understand how you feel. I wanted my first to be a boy and when the told me girl I felt disappointed but now I can see my life with out her. The family will love her just as much. I hope you feel better soon!! Girls rock!

@doodiemo, it's ok to feel down, u had expectations but once ur baby is here u will forget about it and eventually try again and hopefully get the boy u always wanted. Before I found out what I was having I was convinced I was having a boy and I was sad bc I really wanted a girl I felt so guilty for feeling like that but now I look back and it was just the fear idk how to raise boys lol. What does ur hubby say is he excited for a girl or did he want a boy also?

He always would say I needed a boy and he was always saying "he" and him.. But when I told him it was a girl he smiled so big. I couldn't help but smile cause now I know he was only saying that cause I wanted a boy. I know now in his heart he wanted a girl. @kibella22

@doodiemo, I mans bond with his daughter is beautiful and so is a mother and daughter one. Think of how much fun u will have! Decorating her nursery buying all the little clothes with pink and cheetah print lol and glitter, she will want to grow up to b and look just like u. She will be ur mini me and that's such a flattering and wonderful feeling. I know ur down now and it's understandable but once u start looking at how beautiful it will be and that u can try again soon for a boy I'm sure u will feel so much better.

personally my daughter being elder of my son has been a huge blessing for me. because she is a nurterer and very intelligent in almost every aspect....she has been able to help me raise my son. and i know my son is much better for this.
