She is here! Mckell was born on April 16, 2015 at 3:04pm. She weighs 6 lbs 7.5 ounces and is 18 3/4 inches long. Labor wasn't to bad but due to the fact that I had high blood pressure they gave me an epidural early. I had an epidural at 2 cm dilated. I felt like I needed to push about six hours after the epidural and I was only dilated to a five. Ten minutes later I had them check me again because I felt so much pressure like I needed to use the bathroom. They checked me again and I was at 10 cm. I only pushed for 25 minutes and she was out. Best feeling in the world is being a mommy. I hope all of you ladies are having a wonderful day. 🎀😊
I had the same issue after I had my girl. highest it got in the hospital was 172/120. that's good I hope it stays down for you.:)
@firstbaby_girl, it actually got higher for a while after I had her. It was 160 over 102 for a while. It is now dropping so things are looking good. :)
as soon i got to 5cm i dilated super fast too. And then pushed for 7minutes.
congrats on your baby girl! 😊💕
I dilated quick after they broke my water. only pushed 28 min. we both had that part easy. how's your pressure doing after having her?
@firstbaby_girl, yeah it was super quick and pushing was really fast too. They were very surprised how well I did for my first child.

Got to the hospital at 4 am to start my pitocin, well.. I was put on the drip at 430 am , and was 4cm dilated and 80 percent effaced, an hour later. The nurse came in to check me, hours later, and I was at 6 cm. I got the epidural at 6cm.. But it didn't work for me, no more than 20 minutes later, I couldn't take the pain, I was screaming and crying.. And felt everything.. most terrible pain ever, I called for my nurse to come in and she checked me again, said I was ready to deliver, babys head ...
How long did you go through labor? I went through 14 hours of labor when I had Oliver. Would have been longer if the doctors hadn’t given me meds to speed up the labor. I was given an epidural, my blood pressure went down to 80 and they had to give three epidural shots to get me stable again and they had to stop it for 20 minutes because the doctor was out at lunch. 🙄 so by the time I gave birth I felt everything
Update: Brittany did not get an epidural she quickly dilated she was 4 cm then an hour later 8 cm contractions are strong and now she is a 10 cm and it's almost time to push my grandson out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Checked in at 4am february 1st.. started my pitocin drip at 5. I was 3cm dilated when i checked in. Things were progressing pretty slowly until my doctor broke my water at 7 am. I got my epidural done when i was 7 cm dilated, my nurse came in to check me and said baby was in plus 1 station. From there it went rather quickly, once my cervix was complete, she did practice pushes with me, i did 3 practice pushes with a few contractions and she said not to practice push anymore because baby was crow...

Baby Rhonda Lin-Li made her debut at 11:01am this morning (12/5). Weighing in at 7lbs 1oz and 19". After being sent home at 1am this morning, I had to come back at 9:45 as I had intense contractions that were 3-5 minutes apart. At check in, I measured at 4cm but 100% effaced. A minute later, they broke my waters. Within 5 minutes, I literally dilated to 9. They rushed me into a the delivery room...I tried to go without an epidural..but at 9cm, I could no longer take the pain. Got the epidural an...
