Okay ladies that have had babies/children.. I stated working out when I found out I was pregnant.. I do walk a lot but I haven't worked out like I would like to.. Not fast in anyway but getting the blood pumping.. QUESTION IS: does working out really help with labor or should I just keep walking (I work in retail- so I'm on my feet all day-a lot of back and forth) but still taking time to walk around the apartment complex.. Just asking what was your experience.. Any thing helps.. Also hoping to go natural but not against epidural
If by working out you mean dealing with weights and stuff then I wouldn't recommend it since you didn't work out prior being preggo , but walking and stretching should keep you on track and definitely a better smoother labour to females that stay active during pregnancy
My sister worked out through out her whole pregnancy said her labor was great they have great pregnancy workout dvd's also!
I did a lot of yoga during my pregnancy & even though I'm a FTM i think my yoga help me a lot.
