Like where do you need to go?

Breastfeeding has better stuff then formula. Ima breast feed my baby. As long as I can handle the pain and how much milk I make. But mom said it help me since I was only 2 pounds when I was born. Just sayin.

Google wic office for your county that you live in. and call them to make an appointment. do you have medical insurance thru the state or ur parents? @brittanyy_plus1

@lunabuena I breastfed for two months. once I went back to work my supply went to like zero. plus she got used to the bottles while I was at work. so to nurse her was such a struggle since the flow is very different. she'd just get pissed. Ino how wonderful it is for them. but even even I was pumping I wasnt getting even half of what I was getting before. so it was either let her starve or get formula.

well if it's government health insurance you will automatically get approved for it. but since I'm still on my parents I had to being my pay stubs from work. but I still qualified. been on it since I was like 11 wks pregnant :) helps ALOT with groceries! @brittanyy_plus1

mm domke22, ooh yeah that's what I meant I probably can't breastfeed for long I have a feeling. I totally understand. Do they not understand that?

@lunabuena I mean I think I coulda done it longer if I didn't have to go back to work you know? if only I could be a stay at home mom! 😭 but yea at least she got it for two months :) idk if they do or don't but they just keep telling me you know you could just do a feeding at night and bottles the rest of the day. I just kept looking at this lady... lol like really you think a baby is going to be able to do that I want her to sleep at night not be hungry cuz she can't get how much she needs lol they are just so pushy..... the whole time I was there.

@brittanyy_plus1 no problem :) they will most likely accept you it's the girls who are married that have a harder time cuz its based off both their incomes then

@mdomke22, well your doing okay by feeding the baby. That's all that matters. There are moms out there that can't breastfeed.

it's their job to keep moms breastfeeding as long as possible. most people don't know that. their goal is to have more breastfeeding babies than formula fed babies because formula is expensive and takes a ton of funding which means they help fewer moms and babies, meanwhile feeding a breastfeeding mommy is way cheaper and healthier long term for both and they can help more moms and babies. (:

They try to make you breastfeed. Then at my WIC place they want me to breastfeed but I want to pump they don't want to give me a pump untill a month of actively pumping...by then I'll by my own dam pump. I just don't like breastfeeding because it grosses me out I think it's nasty baby sucking on ur nipple. justly my own personal comment. I don't hate on any woman who breastfeed just my own personal thoughts on it. but girl you gotta do what you gotta do.

i arm so thankful for wic honestly. lol i breast and did formula at first so i only got a couple cans then a couple weeks later my milk dried up i called and they got mine right in. but they are more for bf and they seem like they try to push to more on you lol but they cant make you do it or do nothing about it. but once again so thankful for them. ☺☺☺
