Mine were 3 minutes apart lasting 1 monte and they kept getting stronger for an hr, if they stop then it's probably false

Seems like false labor. I was always told that when contractions are 5 minutes apart, last 1 minute and go on for a few hours then you should go to the hospital. but those contraction you are having might be helping ! so good luck (:
