Does anyone know if cot bumpers are a must have? thinking of putting little one in her cot tonight but haven't got bumpers yet as she's been in her moses basket since birth. she's getting very long for it now 😁🙊

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!

Nah! Not a must have, my little boy has been in his cot since he was around 4 months and is 14 months now. Plus there have been articles where the baby has strangled itself on the bumper string. When I worked in a nursery after hearing this we removed the bumpers just to safe guard ourselves but as long as you make sure the strings are tied and not loose it's safe enough :)
