I would change doctors if I was you because if you end up finding out you are a High Risk pregnancy like I am then you will be monitored way more to make sure everything is okay.

I was dinied too at 5 weeks they wanted me to wait untill 8 weeks. But I was impatient and my husband was deploying in 3 days and I wanted him so see our little one before leaving. Knowing it was only a grain of rice size but I still wanted to give him the experience. I went to planned parenthood when I was dinied. They gave me one at 5 weeks. My first ultrasound by a doctor I didnt get untill 13 weeks and thats was only because I was having bad cramping and bleeding and went to the ER.

Well they don't have to give you one the early, in fact most women go from 12 weeks, 18-22 weeks and then around 30 to 36 or so.. But if you don't feel comfortable, change doctors..

i did i talked to like 3 nurses and they all said the same thing and yes you can i work at a daycare but i guess when i went to find out i was pregnant she said i couldnt be pregnant due to im fat( weighed 142) and i corrected her and demanded a test and since then shes so rude

@lina196, correct me if Im wrong but u can hear baby's heartbeat already at week 6? Seems like this nurse doesnt know what she is talking about. Maybe u should call again and ask to speak with someone else.

Trust me I understand how your feeling, Have you tried other doctors?? My cousin called 5 doctors and majority wouldn't see her until 10-12 weeks even though she's miscarried twice, then she found a doctor that wanted to see her at 6 weeks.

this is my first baby and i called the clinic and the nurse said you cant hear the heartbeat until 12 weeks so im not ganna make you come in sooner its a waste of time and your money i was just like wtf @kay80

My first pregnancy they wouldn't see me until 10-12 weeks and then I miscarried...since i miscarried then this pregnancy they want to bring me in sooner than later

Is it ur first baby? I was told with ur first u get earlier ultrasound scan. But otherwise its around 11-13weeks. I had mine week 13. But that cuz I found out late I was pregnant. I think with my first it was 7-8weeks
