cold sores are herpes... But sometimes it is something else, but that's for the doctor to test.

Cold sores are a form of herpes virus just like chicken pox and shingles are. They're not necessarily an std. It is a common condition don't be scared anything can trigger them, the weather, stress, maybe ur getting sick. Whatever it is hope u feel better soon.
