i have the "first years" double electric pump..but i noticed after 5 mins of pumping the milk just stops..i pump for 15mins and only get an ounce or two all together. I've been pumping every few hours..once i stop the pump i can still get milk using my fingers so i don't know why the pump isn't getting it..help??
ive tried the nipple shield too lol you get 3-4oz from each breast or all together? @senadas4_14_2015
I use a manual pump already a month and i pump every 2 1/2 hrs _3hrs and get out 3to4ounces. @teenmommy17
Maybe its you nipples that arent for latching on like mines. i use one of the nipple shields and he eats directly from breast and bottle.@teenmommy17,
my supply has increased but the pump isn't getting it..@senadas4_14_2015,
exactly and my baby won't latch since he's had the easy life of a bottle lol @senadas4_14_2015
Same here. Even an expert on nursing told me the same. you really cant do anything about it, just keep pumping until you milk supply increases and it should. But they said if you breastfeed directly he/she will get more than you pump out always. The sucky part is we dont know how many ounces they eat through the breast
Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖
what's the point of pumping at work if I can't store the milk and it just goes bad. might as well stop breastfeeding.
what works better to get more milk? A hand pump or a electric pump?
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared...
My breast are heavy and full with milk but when I squeeze nothing comes out and when I try to pump nothing is pumped into the breast pump its like I have milk but its stuck and wont come out...any tips or help on this.. i really would like to breastfeed my daughter....
