My Dad's about to get real uncomfortable everytime he wants to have an opinion on maternity leave, labor, breastfeeding etc. He's trying to tell me today that a breastpump is " " "not necessary". I explained a little about engorgement, mastis and working moms. You want to be ignorant, I will educate you.
He's trying to tell me a manual pump is just as effective b/c he knows soooo much my Mom only breastfed for 2 and 3 weeks. When I got home he wanted to talk about it again and I told him I get 2 15 minute breaks you aren't emptying both sides in 15 mins.

next time tell him "how else would I feed my baby when I finally go back to work? am I suppose to just let him starve?"
This is the same man that told me some women want to go back to work 3 days after labor... seriouslu wtf is his issue?
