So I noticed this morning that my right foot was puffy, while my left looked normal, checked my blood pressure at home, and my right arm read almost 40 numbers higher on the top number than my left? I am not sure what to think about that....

i am wondering if that might have been what happened. because I've never had BP problems before@junebaby
yes it can but it shouldn't be a big difference in both arms. however if you move or talk or the cuff isn't on just right that can alter the reading.
yeah definitely. can stress mess with blood pressure. i have had a ton of that lately. stress. lol @junebaby
let them know about the swelling though and your earlier reading.
Checked again, right arm was 114/80 Left was 124/74
even if they can't do anything about it they still need to know. I'd call.

Anything greater than ten points difference is not good and can indicate a blocked artery, heart problem and is also stroke symptom. Not trying to scare you but I'm a nurse and we watch for those things. That along with one sided swelling is concerning. Sit quietly for a few minutes and recheck them both but call your doctor right away. Better to be safe.
134/76 and 116 heart rate on right arm 99/62 and 108 heart rate on left arm
