I'm so proud of my baby....recently turned 3 months and I finally got the okay with his doctor to finally introduce him to baby food , So I started of with rice cereal of course , He mastered it like a pro, He's currently 16 pounds and a half so I could only imagine how much weight he's gonna put on 😳😟 lol (The rice cereal was not in the bottle, His Doctor said rice cereal shouldn't be put in the bottle and i think the same, take time to introduce your child to a spoon.....my baby ate in his little bowl and then drank 4 ounces in his tommee tippee and he's currently knockout lol)
I have dozens of dr brown bottles. My mom LOvEs it and went crazy stalking up on them lol I just hate having to clean the extra blue tubes in the bottle! The tommee bottles I got doesn't have that BUt it does say reduces gas and colic! I suppose because of the way they made the nipple. I have one avent bottle but it leaks! I don't know why . I even tightened the top. So that's why I don't want to buy more avent bottles. The nipples are stiff!! So maybe that's the reason so he's taking the milk and spitting it out. The tommee ones I got all start with slow flow which is perfect for me right now. And I purchased the medium flow nipples too so I'll have that when I need it which is in about 2 months because it says 3 months+ @wondermom
I bought him a pack of 3 Dr browns the fat wide 8 oz bottle tho, They are not bad at all , but I like tommee tippee the best out of all the bottles I have tried with him...when he was drinking small amount of milk I only bought him the 4 oz small bottles and i had tommee tippee and Avent ...Avent are not bad bottles but there's is a BIG DIFFERENCE on tommee tippee than on avent... avents nipples are HARD compared to the softness of tommee tippees nipples. ..tommee tippee wins hands down...and I got the tommee tippee colic which is more work because it has parts inside (just like the Dr brown) 😩 but I wouldn't trade it for none, they are truly good bottles the only down side is that they only come with size 1 nipple and you have to buy separate size nipples once your baby starts eating more because if your baby's suction is strong the tommee tippee nipples are so soft that then they'll stay like sucked in at the beginning that always used to happen to me and I though the bottles were a problem until I went and bought size 2 nipples and now my baby drinks perfectly fine , Good bottles I tell you, Go for it @mmmirage
@wondermom, ohhh ok that's smart. Makes sense. That's the best way to slowly introduce food. Thanks! But now I'm more anxious to get those bottles! 😁 im using dr brown right now and I hate it
I might give my baby cereal once a day. how many ounces of formula do he drink after the cereal? @wondermom
Not at all , my baby is healthy and is at great weight I also found it weird that his pediatrician gave me the green light to start him in baby food at 3 months ,she even said I could start giving him those fruit sauce for baby's but I'm a paranoid mom lol so I'll Keep him on rice cereal till his 4 months then I'll start giving him apple sauce ,ect. @browersbaby
These bottles are the best hands down , I love tommee tippee colic bottles .....yeah I take one tablespoon of baby rice cereal pour it in his bowl then I prepare him a bottle of milk like I would regularly do, then I pour little by little the prepared milk into the bowl until it has a nice watery consistency , if they have never had baby food then the fist cereal make sure is more watery than thick till they get use to the baby food @mmmirage
Lol I mean some females do it even my mom told me to do it but I went against it...12 pounds already boy oh boy lol @flowersssxo
Lol you'll enjoy it , it's so cute when they start learning how to eat with a spoon @mdomke22
my son is 3 months and has terrible acid reflux. I wanted to start him on cereal but his pediatrician said no cereal until 6 months.. was it a reason your baby's suggested starting him on cereal?
I ordered the same bottles! Waiting for it in the mail! Can't wait! Do u mix the cereal with milk until it's thick and feed with a spoon? I want to start that too when my baby is old though
Lol my baby eats it in her bottle with no problem before she turned 2 months and more than one time ooops lol she's 12lbs lmfao
My son just turned 3 months I didn't know he could eat rice cereal this early. I'm definitely going to start doing that now! (:
