HELP!!!
I'm currently trying to decide what to do.... I can get an appointment this Thursday at a local scanning place alone to find out the flavour of my little jellybean but it'll cost £79. if I wait til the 30th April it'll only cost £39 but I'm so impatient to find out. Unfortunately there are no upcoming dates/times available that work around my partners work hours so I'd have to go alone. Should I just wait to the end of may for my 20+wk hospital scan with him or bite the bullet and be naughty and find out this week or next and find a cute way to surprise him?? What would you do? honest opinions only please, not just what you think I might want to hear... ;-)

@zeld, Honestly i would just wait...you would be suprised how quick it will go! And also your partner would be able to share the experiemce with you and you could spend the money on things for you little one. But thats just my opinion :) xx

@elisabetesantos, thank you... that's exactly what I'm after. honest arguments whether they are for or against and you have very valid points. silly thing is I really want it to be team pink for him as he has boys from his previous relationship. for me I don't care as long as jellybean is healthy! I just keep thinking if we are team pink... how awesome it'll be to surprise him with the news.....of course.... there is just as much chance we could be team blue and then would I feel kinda deflated for him? urrgghhh!!! damn my impatience lol 😄

I would do the same as @zeld and wait to my 20 week scan and spend the money on the things the baby and you need ..

@zeld, i totally understand you ! but i prefer waiting because i feel like if you have things to expect the time goes faster. I still have 2 weeks left to find out and i cant wait now x

I would wait because finding out now or later wont change the sex. Those gender scans last 10-20 mins just to find out info you can get for free with patience. However I do hope your little one is team pink. Im not even finding out the gender of mine

I went for a sexing scan at 16wks on my own coz my bf had to work and didn't want to pay £90 to find out so I went anyway as a surprise (and coz I'm too impatient to wait) and put the result in his Christmas card and he opened it on Xmas day. (I went 3 days b4 Xmas day so had to keep it to myself for 3 days!! )

I would wait - £79 or even £39 will get some lovely bits for bubba, put the money it would cost for the scan to the side so you can have a little splurge when you know the sex..!! Tbf I am a bit biased though as i am having a surprise 😜 I won't know what colour pink or blue until baby arrives xx

Why dont you wait till the 20 week scan and do what i did i told the midwife to not tell what the sex of the baby is and just write it on a piece of paper fold it and give it to me. I took it to the card shop or you could take to clintons wherever and gave it to the girl behind the desk i told whatever the sex is get balloons amd put them in a box that i chose and close the box so she went to the back and did it. We took the box home and my paremts and his parents came we got my little sister to open the box and up come up balloons with its a boy on it. I know its cheesy but i wanted to share it with the closest people to us. Theres so many other ways aswell ud be surprised.
