I'm so upset. I really wanted to have a baby shower but my doctors tell me that there's no point in it... :(

maybe do kinda a different shower and just have a nice party to celebrate him. you and him both deserve that!

Don't listen to the doctors. If you want to have a baby shower, have one. Whether he survives or passes away, you could use the baby shower as a way to celebrate his life. My prayers will be with you and your family 🙏

@awelden, they did an amniosentisis or however its spelled. all his cells came back positive for full trisomy 18. he's got holes in his heart and swollen ventricles in his brain, so his brain isn't growing as it should. his lungs don't look to be fully developed either. its just a lot right now/: and @imbecca143 thank you, that means a lot

What did they do to test the baby

that's what's happening to me. @awelden I have to see my new doctor tomorrow because I was already high risk, now I'm extremely high risk/:

I had a friend that had a baby girl she had t13 and they had her but she passed 2 weeks later . It's a really sad thing . Their doctor said for them to terminate the pregnancy and they said no and the doctor stopped seeing them .

Awe I'm so sorry . Prayers coming your way that you get to bring your baby home . How do they test that??

@awelden, my son was just diagnosed with trisomy 18, they predict he will be stillborn and so they don't want me to get all the stuff needed for him if I won't bring him home
