I think it would be fine if you had restrictions on and a time limit on and if its younger kids no cable just movies and stuff

I'm putting a TV up and she's not even born yet lol

I had one and now I can't sleep without the tv on

my nieces have a tv in their room. they just have rules. not sure what they are tho.

Both my kids have a tv in their room and game systems they also have a cable box wth parental restrictions and we have weekend tv hrs and school night tv hrs and the games are onli played on non school nights

@nieshabaldwin23 @forever_1127 @gabrielizburgos @rosebud @may24th I agree with all you guys. but on other app they were saying their kid can only watch TV once a week. some don't believe in TV in the bedroom. one person said their kid doesn't have any electronics.. (iPad and stuff) she makes her baby play with blocks or something lol... like you should have restrictions but a child only watching TV once a week is exptreme. they have plenty of educational cartoons since that seems to be a major concern

I let my son have a tv in his room when he turned 3. But he has restrictions also which is his bed time and he doesn't have a cable box. He has a roku player and he streams Netflix off of it. He is 4 now and he had learned what he can and cannot do on his tv.

My daughters TV is on 24/7. as long as we're home, it's on. she doesn't watch it all the time, but it's great background noise and we keep our tv on while we sleep too.

Hmmm that's crazy. I think if a parent gives their children restrictions it shouldn't be a problem. My son actually learns alot of stuff from watching educational shows like Bubble guppies and team umizoomi. Idk

My kids have no tv in their room, they did at one point, but no tv monday thru thursday, well they would sneak and turn it on, homework wouldn't be done house wouldn't be clean(their room) so we took it and never put it back, now my house is clean, everybody getting straight A's and that's that

@mrssabby but looks like that was a punishment... so I get it...their are consequences to their actions

@sexii_diiva, yeah but now they still don't watch tv during the school days so it works plus they read more :-)! And I read with them :-)!

No tv in there room. Maybe we they're older.

I think it's a good idea to let them watch educational cartoons morebl than just once a week so that they can learn because when the time comes for them to go to school they already know a lot and won't shruggle @sexii_diiva At the end, you do what you think is best for your child and not what other people suggest.
