Why do I need a baby shower? I don't want to be around ANYONE but my hubby, can't they just mail me the presents?? >:( that's all I want YOUR PRESENTS I SAID IT! (I would NEVER say it to their face though)

That's understandable idk maybe I'll do a shower for his side of the family so I won't seem like an asshole to them because I KNOW they'll get insulted if i don't, and then a welcoming party for my side of the family I think that'll make everyone happy @steph11 yeah I think that's a good idea
I don't want one either and I'm only doing one for my father's side of the family because I don't like them and they don't like me but are excited. so I was worried if I didn't do one like 2 weeks after she gets here they'll all want to do a welcoming party thing and I don't want them around til she's bigger
It's okay, I'm used to it. & his family is going to be the ones missing out on our little girls life. She has a grandma & grandpa that already spoil her too much. A great grandma that is excited to meet her. 2 uncles that love her already & are ready to be first time uncles. (: And a mommy and daddy who love her more than anything else in the world! 😊 oh and I can't forget her body guards (our dogs) lol.

Yes it totally seems disrespectful if I don't have one they just make me nervous they're great people and they invited me to their gatherings and welcomed me so I should do the same of course BUT deep down inside... I don't feel well I'm always nauseous and super tired. @princesswasiq gotta respect the members anyway. you're completely right.
Even if you don't want one have it anyway. It's more respectful then just saying give me your presents.
I wish! @mamabear123 I didn't invite anyone from my boyfriends family to my showers. Then I kinda felt bad so I asked his mom if she wants to throw one for his side of the family and she said she'll think about it or what about after the baby is here. Umm if it's after my baby is here she's going to stay at home with my parents... I don't want all of those people around her when she's so little.

lol his side of the family are SO NICE they're incredibly welcoming! They STILL make me nervous... especially his mom, who's like the nicest person there is. Idk why.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
