ok here's a little rant. I've been doing some shopping for our baby girl and setting up her nursery for when she comes into this world. my husband hasn't done any of the shopping with me or on his own. he hasn't helped me decorate the room either. he says he's excited for this baby yet I'm doing it all by myself. Idk it's just starting to hurt and get to me. what am I supposed to do?

Does he usually like to go shopping? My husband was the same way...but he doesn't like to shop at all.
My husband set up the crib but that's it. Lol. I've bought everything, and decorated. It's not that he doesn't care or isn't interested, it's just that he's clueless when it comes to this stuff. Lol. He thinks it's his job to do the "man" things : building, set-up, and put things together.
I picked out. Bought. Set up. Decorated. Everything myself. Doesn't mean your husband isn't excited sometimes they just don't know what to do. Your parent instincts develop when you find out you're pregnant. Fathers become fathers after they hold their baby.
Men are a different breed then us. I decorated our baby girls room he just put together the crib dresser and hung all thw high things for me. Have you asked him to help? I would tell him you need his help say baby your so good at doing this whatever you we'd done could you please help me do it. somtimes they need a little encouragement
give him a job to do :) even if its not perfect tell him how amazing he is... my hubby just needs to be needed... he never means offence for not doing things...
