You guys are ridiculous lmao you can't control your habbit enough to give up smoking so you listen to these dumbass doctors who say its ok but its not right?! Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I have two kids and smoked for four years before I got pregnant and as soon as I found out I quit. Didn't continue after I had my first because my grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. That was enough for me to quit that nasty habbit and I sure as hell wouldn't want my precious baby drinking anything that had that shit in it! GET REAL 💯

Second hand smoke is worse for a baby than the small amount of nicotine they get from your milk @renaldoswife and it's recommended to smoke after you breastfeed. Look I'm not saying it's right i just think it's still better to be bf due to the well documented benefits of it for your baby

me too my doc said its such a lil amont it wont do damege unless u smoke a pack or two a day most the time i dont make comments cause people get up set that i have one maybe two like everyother day and i get upset that it ant there place to be judgemental so im with u i might not be a doc but im vary open with mine @regelbaby

@regelbaby, I'm sorry but that doesn't sound accurate at all nor does it sound safe. I wouldn't risk putting nicotine into my childs body because I needed to smoke a cancer stick. Anything you smoke goes into your body and most definitely into your milk ducts which gets transferred to your baby. I dnt knw where you got your info from?

Sorry I hate to totally disagree with you ladies but I'm not sure where you got your info from. You can absolutely smoke while breastfeeding. It would be best if you did not smoke period. BUT they actually say it's better to breastfeed even if your smoking rather than smoking and giving formula.
