Help! I'll be 2 weeks post partum Thursday.. I'm pretty sure my stitches have either ripped or dissolved already, is that normal?? I looked and from what I could tell they aren't there, I won't go into detail on that lol

Should the area still be.. open if that makes sense? it's still really painful and going to the bathroom (#2) makes me come up off the toilet (I have been taking stool softners) I do have a uti but it's not the same pain. @californiahaley

No the rip should be mostly healed if they're dissolving. I would suggest called your doctor.

@californiahaley, Thank you, they didn't give me much info on how or when they should be healed so I panick

They didn't tell me much either. But my midwife was able to one check mine at 4 days and 2 weeks
