UPSET RANT. So I've always know I'm not my moms favorite(my sister is) She has never really cared too much about my kids either but I really though she would say something when Emily was born. Tonight she got on Facebook and was commenting on my sister's kids pictures and not one word about my daughter. She is 1 month old and my mom still hasn't cared enough to even acknowledge that she was born or to see how I am. I am beyond devastated. I could never imagine basically abandoning any of my children. OK pity party over.
thats horrible when you're own mom makes you feel that way. Shes taking a precious moment in your life & making it seem like nothing. I agree with @mommy3rmz that you should talk to her so you can get a clear understanding of why she behaves like this
I'm so sorry mama. sometimes people keep disappointing you in life and we cut them out. just remember the joy your babies bring you
:( oh no that's awful ! But the best thing is to keep being awesome and if she wants to be part of your life great if not oh well. You can give your baby enough love for a billion people :)
thats so harsh hun i would be upset too :/ have u tried talking to her about how u feel?

You couldn't find a babysitter?!
Mommas, do you take your kids with you to run errands and go to mundane appointments? On two separate occasions, a doctors appointment for me and today at a car service appointment, someone has remarked "you couldn't find a babysitter?!" It never crossed my mind to find a babysitter. I take my 2 kids with me just about everywhere. They are well behaved (minus the occasional 3 year old meltdown) and one of them is attached to my boob the majority of the time anyw...
What's wrong with a Bumbo?
I am visiting my in-laws for Mothers Day and I brought my daughters Bumbo along for the trip. Well my in-laws just thought it was the coolest thing. DH's cousin is pregnant and her mom asks her, "did you see the baby's Bumbo chair?" and she snaps "yes!", and her mom asks "do you want one for the baby?" and she goes "NO! I will never use one of those for my child!" and then no one said anything else about it.
thank you ladies. for the most she isn't on Facebook so I don't get upset. I have tried talking to her but she never replies back and I don't have a phone number for her. most times I can just let it go. I just really thought she would at least say something. my kids are my life and right now I just shelter them from the hurt she causes. thanks again ladies it's nice to hear encouraging words @mommy3rmz @krb0911 @firstbaby_girl @queenof2
