on my way to the er to take my lil man, plz kp him in yall prayers...im not ashamed of what im about 2say (sum call it comfortable) but im honest, my son might hav hsv1&2... i was diagnosed with it & contracted it from his father, he has been whimpering n trimmerin but he does the normal eat, poop n play but his breathing n other things im concerned about... i just hope he is ok & they dont keep him

ik, i was so happy when they told me...he weighs 6 lbs he was 5.11 so hes doing good gaining, i was nervous n-worried since we was discharged monday...@firefly,
Hes fine, its a rash & a stork bite on-his nose (blood vessel that goes away) his breathing is normal n so is his temp n he doesn't have hsv2 n he gets circumcised next friday
they do a culture, the scrap the skin, or do a blood test. they see if theres growth over time wen they scrap the skin. wit blood test it can n diagnosed only bcuz when u hav a outbreak once it clears it sheds in the blood for 2wks @kelseys @firefly
he did but they don't kno-if it's blisters or a rash but by me havin an outbreak a month ago, they ran test n plus they couldnt circumcise him til his results come back@firefly

@kelseys blood test is not always the best way to go and alot of doctor's will not do it by blood because about 90 percent of the human population has it and it is dormant.
@firefly, they don't only need an outbreak or blister to diagnose it, they do a blood test. I as well have it and my doctor hasn't seen an outbreak on me.
