Really thinking about medical coding and billing certificate, does anyone do this for a living ? If…

Someone just asked about this the other day too lol. Yes Im a Medical Billing Manager ive been in this field for 14 years

I recommend it because its stable & pays decent. There are always job positions available for this

I went to everest for that n loved it but haven't got a job in that field yet

@queenof2, what courses or program do you recommend? I found a program at my local community college it's a 270 hour program the program is just medical coding program.

@lilmomma817, thats surprising you didnt find anything. The best way to break into the field is through a temp agency. I know that alot of jobs hiring may want at least 1 yr experience

Medical Coding by itself is very valuable. Once you pass the test & get certified you will make more than

billers. The Medical billing & coding is diiferent from that course. They both are in high demand so you cant go wrong with either
