IN ORDER FROM LEFT TO RIGHT.
Lucy's necklace came in! the first thing I had to do was test to see if it's genuine Amber. a lot of shops out there sell fake/imposter Amber and there are ways to test if your Amber is the real deal. one way, is the salt water test. if your Amber is real, it will float in salt water, if it is imposter Amber (plastic, glass, etc) it will sink in salt water. below I shown step by step what I did to test her Amber.
1.) is the Amber necklace itself! cute right?
2.) I filled a cup with 1 part salt.
3.) I then filled the cup with 2 parts of warm water, and stirred the salt with the water to help it dissolve.
4.) I dropped the necklace in, and it's floating, not sinking!
5.) top view of the necklace floating. ITS REAL.😊
6.) the business card sent with our order. the company is called "Amber by Amanda" you can find her products at amberbyamanda.com , she sells true genuine Amber, not the phony stuff and it's totally adorable. she also offers free priority 1-2 day shipping. her website also answers a lot of common questions related to Baltic Amber and can help you chose which piece of jewelry would be right for your little one!
now the next test is to see if it actually helps lucy with her teething.😊💛 very pleased as of this moment.

@brie127, yes that's what I plan on doing at night when I can keep my eye on her! thank a good idea.(-:
@junebaby I definitely made sure all parts are secure and intact and will more than likely do it everytime I take it off too. it is scary!

youre welcome. I sure wouldn't have thought about it happening until I read that. I would have checked that it was secure so parts wouldn't come off. My thought would be choking on the beads but just goes to show you the crazy things that can happen.

the lady I got mine from suggested to put it around my daughters ankle. so I might try that :)

@Junebaby, lucys is pretty secure around her neck and not very long. her arms are far too chubby to get through it, but that's scary! thank you for informing me!

@brie127, the twist on clasp on the back makes it very hard to a baby to take off. they're also very durable. I just tugged and pulled on my daughters pretty hard to see if it would snap and it didn't, and if it were to break, each bead is double knotted in between so they all won't come pouring off, you know? my daughter doesn't even notice she has it on right now. whatever you are comfortable with. they're always hazards which is why they say watch your baby at all times with it on just in case something were to happen!(-: @uhmandaxconrad92 oh that's funny!

I wanted to get one too. My cousin has them for her kids. I just read an article though where a baby almost strangled herself. She managed to stick her arm up through the space between her neck and the necklace and was turning blue when her mommy went to check on her. I know it's probably not common to happen but just be aware.
