it's just uncomfortable for a while but it worked for me @kelllz

have you had your cervix checked? if so, it  feels like that but they use their fingers to sweep around your cervix.  if having your cervix checked didn't hurt then the membrane sweep shouldn't.

it worked for me....I had it done on a Friday and I went into labor on Sunday

I had 3 separate ones . took less than 8 hours for the 3rd one to  make me bleed and made  contractions worse
