What I did was eat a small breakfast, which was at 7 and then drank lots of water, I didn't eat until after my test, which was at 2. I had the Orange flavor and my gosh the aftermath was horrible, food didn't stay down for a week after. My results came out negative

I only have to do the one hr one. I just hope everything is fine @junebaby

@ladybugmom, I had to fast for it. my doctor does a two hour test. I had to drink the lemon lime and it was nasty. trying to keep it down. I retest at almost noon.

I advise you to also not eat starchy food, they turn into sugar @ladybugmom and at least give yourself a few hours before you take the test and drink lots of water.

Why can't you eat? I take mine tomorrow and they just told me to stay away from sugary foods and drinks

Good luck! My results came back positive for gestational diabetes, I was devastated but I controlled it with diet and exercise and I have a beautiful healthy baby girl who is 6 months today.

Ugh 😖 I rather do it again and again than have the GD 😒 which I do. But good luck hope it stays down so u don't have to do it again and hope it's all good.
