They are old wives tales. Never listen to it. If the doctor said its a girl, I would follow their advice first.

Omg i get the same thing all the time and it freaks me out because i just had my babyshower and everything she has almost is pink and my friend thought she was having a girl found out last min 30 something plus weeks it was actually a boy
