The felony shouldn't be that bad, a lot of jobs overlook that! But the being locked up part sucks, hopefully they can just do probation. I've heard they usually do 1/3 of 1/3 so we're hoping my boyfriend only gets 6 months and he'll only miss out on 2 months of his daughters life. But good luck hopefully you don't have to go!🙏🙏

Ya that's what my sister in law was talking about. @kate_magalina I just hope I don't get stuck with a felony on my record and I don't want to be locked up.

Sometimes the court appointed lawyers are better than the "big shots" my boyfriend spent $15,000 and honestly he would've been better without that stupid lawyer ):

@jthe court gave me a lawyer but she seems like she doesn't want to help. I'm going to call around for a different one. I don't have money for one but I'm just going to have to make it work.

First offenses aren't always a slap on the wrist. My boyfriend and his ex rolled his truck 3 years ago, she was in a halo for 3 months and now she's fine. He got dui causing serious bodily injury and reckless driving. The dui was for having weed in his system not alcohol... He got sentenced to a mandatory 5 years in prison. Just make sure you have a good lawyer & he or she goes over your case before they go in the court room so they don't sound like an idiot in front of the judges.

I might go to jail for 6 months. for something I did last year and the DA decided to pick up my charges right before my year was up. I've never been in trouble before everyone makes mistakes. I don't want to leave my children for that long. I've never been away from them. @emilyyy96___
