Quick question. .....my son is 2 months ,the day he was born i still had not decided on a name. His father and i agreed on a name I picked but his father didn't agree on the middle name that I liked, so we put him no middle name :'-( so my question is, IS IT TOO LATE TO PUT HIM A MIDDLE NAME NOW? WHAT'S THE PROCESS?
Yea you should been fine without him. I added my sons fathers name on his so I had to sign all kinds of papers & send in a fee to add his name but if you're just adding a name to the baby's name it's free before the first year after that year you have to pay. that's how they do it here in Illinois it took then 3 months to change my sons name tho
yeah his name is on the birth certificate @january10th
unless you're adding his name on the birth certificate I don't think so
awesome and does the father have to be present? @january10th
I changed my second babies full name at 3 months of life it was easy I just went to my local health department & got an application to change his name & filled it out. I don't think you have to pay anything until he's a year old
Ladies I have a question does my boyfriend need his I.D to put his last name on birth certificate ?
Am I wrong for telling my Bd that because we not Married my baby don't have to have his last name? He really got mad and told me I was project n ignorant. Crazy part is I was thinking about giving my baby his middle and last name
What other middle name would you put with rose? Harper has 2 middle names and I want to keep it going if we have another girl 🤔 last name is Askin
Mini rant plus Update about "Grayson"
I had to change his name. His name is no longer Grayson. His name is Leo. My SOs sisters sons middle name is Grayson and it totally ran past my mind about that. I respect his sister, biggest sweetheart so I apologized to her and she understood and made a great point. No one wants the same name as one another, plus it wouldn't be fair to the both of them. I'm still a little upset, but I'll be alright.

Finally decided on a name for my daughter... but still struggling with a middle name that my husband and I agree on😩 any suggestions?
