Went to the A&E yesterday because yet again I am unable to eat. I just end up vomitting 30mins later. Started feeling dizzy at work so told HR I was going home with no intention of coming to work today lol.

Saw my lil buba for the 4th time. He/She is very active so I guess the twitches I feel are indeed my baby.

Which brings me to my question...Is it possible to get signed off from work due to pregnancy stress? Because dealing with my constant sickness and work is too much for me.

@dimps4eva78, @cwev My company is private. I'll speak to HR. We are pretty close. Thanks for the advice.

yup all of the above is correct. Once the doctor signs you off, most work establishments have to assist you. Although I think private companies are different. I was signed off at five months for the reminder of my pregnancy. yet, I was flipping pulling hair out four weeks later lol. I hope you start to feel better soon hun xx

I'd double check it with hr because if u did have a limit on sick days in ur contract and they paid u more because ur preggers they could get sued by every male employee for sex discrimination. It's so complicated and full if grey areas But tbf companies have to be very careful with how they treat pregnant employees it's like an extra bit of protection lol

@cwev, I checked google lol. They have to pay you if your sickness is pregnancy related or you can sue for sex discrimination. Ill try next week

You defo can. Check ur contract though coz ur employer doesn't hAve to pay u. (I worked for a company that only payed 3 days a year sick so wouldn't pay me when I hAd to go off after major surgery ... Soon left that company!! ) x

Yes my sickness was from around 4 weeks pregnant right up till 24 weeks it was terrible I was signed off from around 8 weeks till 24. It's horrible so yes call doctors and ask if you can they should put a request in.

Am I wrong to be upset? Last night I was running a fever, weak, tired, sore, my left boob feels like it got used as a punching bag. I asked my husband to call out of work today to help me with the kid so I could get some rest. He went to work. I texted him this morning. Part of me thinks I mean. The other part of me thinks I was fine for saying that because he should've stayed home with us.

ekko I see both sides. However, if you both work and him taking off one day isn’t going
2sweetie I’ve never asked my husband to take a day off when I’m sick. I just deal with
boymama523 He gets the choice to call off if he’s overwhelmed or sick. You (all us mommas) don’t.
