I don't know what is going on with my body. I got up to pee in the night and when i got back to bed I was hurting so bad on my left side. It went away after 5 minutes and then I felt my baby move on that side. My bf said was it contractions. I said I really don't think so. If it was contractions I would have felt it all over my tummy not just the left side?? I felt a little bit this morning on the same side but it wasn't as painful as last night.

it's probably your ligaments. Mine act up if I cough, sneeze or get out of bed too quick. Sometimes they hurt no matter what. if you feel your stomach getting real tight though and lasting 30 seconds to 1.5 minutes it's a contraction. You may feel back pain and cramping too.

@courtney89, I'm a first time mom too & have had a lot of complications so I research a lot of things to for sure know what's going on with my body. as long as your whole stomach isn't tightening, you aren't bleeding or having horrible period like cramps im sure everything is fine. like Junebaby said it could be round ligament pains as well, those can be extremely painful as well.

@junebaby, wow. I'm sorry about that. I'm so use to being in tune with my body. but being pregnant it's been hard because sometimes I just don't understand what is going on

I get sharp ligament pains so bad at night they will bring me to tears and sometimes they take half an hour to ease up.

@parkers_mommy, thanks. I felt some pressure too. I'm a first time mom and I get scared sometimes.
