I'm a first time mommy and was wondering when you start dilating?? I know it's random but I'd like to know lol

I was dilated to a 3 for about 3 weeks before I gave birth .

there's no set time to dilate. I dilated 2cm at 19 weeks.

and I started dilating 3 weeks before my son was born.

I didn't dilate at all with my son. I was 40 weeks 2 days when they induced me and i wasn't dilated. While in labor i only dilated to a 3 and closed back down to half a cm. everyone is different

really? that's interesting..

everyone is different ive had 3 kids and i have never dilated till i was in labor
