@mrs.oliva they have hydro cooling pad made by Medela that can help with the pain also put lanolin on after each feed. if u have large breast lift your breast up to his mouth so that he gets as much of the areola as possible in his mouth. you know he's on proper if his bottom lip is doing the sucking.

I'm trying to get my son to latch right all the time but he has such a small mouth I use a nipple shield but gosh my nipples hurt

@mrs.oliva I breastfeed mostly, but if he doesn't feed from both sides I pump the one he didn't use.

@mrs.oliva, if your bra is too tight or you wear an underwire bra or like a compression sports bra it can cut off like milk ducts. It can cause a low supply or even to dry up over a little time.
