It worked well for me. I was numb but could still move my legs. it didn't work much for the pushing part. they also told me if it's only working on one side put that side up so the medicine can work with gravity
Some ppl they go completely numb and have to be told when to push. For others, like me, it doesn't quite work like that. I could of probably got up and walked around with mine. I was still bawling my eyes out in pain lol
@patlac, if it works right you'll still feel a lot of pressure when you need to push. the contractions just won't be painful.
My epidural didn't work at all. They put the needle in me 3 times. And still didn't work for me. As soon as I had my son the epidural kicked in and that's when my butt and legs got numb
My epidural worked for a hour on both sides, then starting wearing off on my left side. I could feel everything on my left side, no matter how much I pushed that little button for an extra dose. It doesn't work for everyone.
my epidural only worked on one side one my left side I couldn't feel anything but on my right I could feel the contractions really bad. and also I could still move my legs and stuff some people it completely numbs them from the waist down and they can't feel ANYTHING.
Right when they stick you, like everyone said a little pinch literally after that you go numb.
No that thing numbed me good lol. Some people say it didn't work for them but that's pretty rare
mines didn't work at all I got it twice and it never worked I felt every contraction I felt the babys head coming out
