How much are babies supposed to sleep. my two week old sleeps most of the time. I want him to sleep at night though and that's when he wakes up the most even though during the day I wake him up for feedings

they can sleep up to like 20 hours a day.

@junebaby, thank you. I thought he was sleeping too much. the thing too is that he wakes up for 2 or 3 hours at like 3 am

yep, its so much fun. lol it gets better though.

At 2 weeks that's all mine did unless he was hungry wet or dirty. he's a month and a week now and he stays up more now but it's mostly at night.
