I'm thinking abt getting a shelac manicure for a special event I'm going to at the end of the month and wondering if its actually worth it. I just don't want to worry abt my nails chipping/getting messed up that weekend and I'm not really into the acrylic nails (they messed up my natural nails really bad to the point that one of my nail beds looks weird to this day). I have pretty strong natural nails and don't see a need for fake ones, but I want them to look nice....

I used to get them done all the time! Shellac my fave!! Lasts me long time 3weeks + (obvs starts to show growing) but they're nice for 1.5 weeks! I even washed dishes by hand but they never chipped! You can also just out gloves on when washing dishes. but I'd say worth it. Keep in mind to take it off best is to go to the son to have them removed it's hard to remove on your own
