I only bought 2 packages of newborn of 32 ct.

If you get to many newborns you can always exchange them for a different size. Newborns are good up to 10 pounds

I only brought 2 packs of newborn and ending up needing more. I would get a box a of newborn and 3 boxes of size one and two. But if your having a baby shower I wouldn't buy any till after.

maybe one or two packages of newborn. the sizes I found we were buying the most of was 1 and 2. I hope that helps 😊
